Dennis Bazilevych
Expert at the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Head of Board of Professional Lobbying and Advocacy Institute

Strategic advisor and consultant to a number of commercial organizations and international technical assistance programs. Dennis has experience in public administration from his work at the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine in 2005-07.  He further gained a new experience in public administration and deepened his understanding of the principles of successful cooperation between business, interest groups and the U.S. Congress during his placement at the personal office of Congressman Walz in 2007-08 as a Fulbright/ APSA Congressional Fellow.
Dennis received his M.S. in International Economy in 2001 from the Odesa State
Economic University. In 2012, he received his degree in International Law from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. In 2005, Dennis was a presidential nominee for the Executive Business Leadership Program at Cambridge University, Great Britain. In 2006, he was selected as a John Smith Fellow and did brief internships at the executive offices of the British government. In 2008, Dennis successfully completed the Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute at American University (Washington, DC). In 2015 – similar course in Brussels.

Deputy Head of the WTO Cooperation Division – Head of Notifications and Enquiries Processing Unit at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine

Her main duties are:
preparation of notifications regarding newly approved and/or amended trade related legislation of Ukraine, mainly on TBT, SPS, import licensing procedures, quantative restrictions, subsidies, state
trading enterprises;
monthly monitoring and analysis of Members’ notifications submitted under a number of the
agreements, mainly on TBT and SPS issues;
responding to enquiries regarding provided Ukraine’s notifications on TBT/SPS as well as regarding trade related issues and trade regime of Ukraine;
information dissemination as to changes in trading partners’ regimes to businesses, government and upon request to all interested parties, participation in information activities with the participation of business on transparency issues, including TBT and SPS measures.

Leonid Vitkin, Head of Technical Regulation Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, has considerable experience in the field of production, education, science and public administration. He conducts scientific activity, has more than 170 scientific publications.
He was representative of the official delegations of Ukraine on Ukraine's accession to the World Trade Organization, the conclusion of the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Area with the EU, and was responsible for sections on overcoming technical barriers to trade. For the past five years, he has headed the Department of Technical Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, organizing work on the reform of the technical regulation system of Ukraine in accordance with international and European norms, with the aim of recognizing the Ukrainian system of technical regulation at the international and European levels. In particular, he is working on the conclusion of an Agreement on the Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA), which is an integral protocol to the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

Dr. Irene Flouda is a Physicist with Ph.D on Solid State Physics. She has been the Head of the Electrical Measurements Department of the Hellenic Institute of Metrology for almost 20 years. Since 2013 she works as an expert on Metrology and Quality Infrastructure for European
projects. In the period 2013-2014 she was the Key Expert on Metrology in the EuropeAid project “Complementary measures to the sector policy support programme Promoting mutual trade by removing technical barriers to trade between Ukraine and the European Union”

Dr. Irene Flouda is a Physicist with Ph.D on Solid State Physics. She has been the Head of the Electrical Measurements Department of the Hellenic Institute of Metrology for almost 20 years. Since 2013 she works as an expert on Metrology and Quality Infrastructure for European
projects. In the period 2013-2014 she was the Key Expert on Metrology in the EuropeAid project “Complementary measures to the sector policy support programme Promoting mutual trade by removing technical barriers to trade between Ukraine and the European Union”

He graduated the Lviv Commercial Academy, specializing in commodity research and product expertise. In the bakery industry, it has been 15 years old.

She works at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine since 2006. Since the last year she has held the position of the Director of Export Development Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, organizing the work concerning realization of the state foreign economic and foreign trade, implementation the Export Strategy of Ukraine, provides and coordinates the work of the Council for International Trade under the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine and its Working Groups, elaborates on a proposals related to development and
implementation of the mechanism of state support for export-oriented industries of Ukraine, provides the work of national exhibitions of Ukraine at world and international exhibitions and fairs.
